Review of Midstate Motor ParkOur family stayed at Midstate Motor Park for two nights during our journey from Melbourne to the Hunter Valley. We arrived after 6 pm; the staff kindly showed us to our grassed site, which comfortably accommodated our camper trailer. The proximity of the showers and toilets was convenient, as was the nearby camp kitchen for washing up. While the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, the cabin's condition was less than ideal. It was quite old, and the furniture left much to be desired. Admittedly, we were grateful for pet-friendly accommodations, which is why we chose this park, especially traveling with our dog. We appreciated the separate areas within the cabin, allowing for some privacy. During our stay, we encountered heavy rain, leading to some muddy conditions. The staff allowed us to change sites when our first was disturbed by dropping tree fruit. Though we enjoyed the pool area, it could benefit from more frequent cleaning. While our experience had ups and downs, the emphasis on family-friendly amenities and the accommodating staff may lead us to consider returning if traveling with our dog again.
